VIGILANT

Vessel Description
177 x 22 x 13. 396 gross tons. Steel fisheries patrol vessel. It had four guns, new ones replaced the ancient muzzle-loaders in 1907. It was the first Canadian-built armed vessel.

Launched: September 20, 1907. Later rebuilt into a barge (1927).

Engine 12 1/2 - 22 - 36 x 21 by Polson Iron Works.
